Does it place trades?+
No. FibScanner finds and alerts setups; you decide what to do with them. It never touches an exchange account.
Do I need an account?+
No account with us at all. Paid users just paste a licence key — that key is the only thing we ever validate.
Where does the data come from?+
Free public market-data APIs — the Binance data mirror, Kraken, Hyperliquid and Yahoo — fetched directly by your browser. No paid feeds, no broker login.
Indices and commodities — how are they free?+
On higher timeframes (1h+) we use a free public feed that's delayed 10–30 minutes — irrelevant when a bar lasts four hours or a day. Real-time index and commodity data down to 1m would need licensed feeds, which we don’t currently offer.
Why can't I scan the S&P on 5m?+
The free index feed is delayed, so fast timeframes would give you stale signals. We'd rather lock the timeframe than alert you late.
Does it repaint?+
No. Signals are computed on closed candles only, and a setup alerts exactly once per bar. Only triggered trades enter the graded record.
Will it slow my browser down?+
No — the whole extension is about 500 KB, sleeps between bar closes, and only fetches the markets whose candle just closed.
Is the score a win probability?+
No. The 0–100 score measures a setup's quality by the rules — how textbook it is. No score guarantees an outcome, and we never pitch win rates.
What does the free tier include?+
The Fib 50% strategy on any 1 market and 1 timeframe you choose, with browser notifications, sounds and full charts. No card, no expiry — it's the trial.
How do refunds work?+
Email us within 14 days of your first payment for a no-questions refund. Cancel any time from the self-serve billing portal.
How many devices can I use?+
Free runs on 1 device; paid plans include 3 device seats. You can deactivate a device in Settings to free a seat.
Why didn't I get an alert on a setup I saw?+
Usually one of the quality gates: the pullback didn't reach a golden-zone level (38.2 / 50 / 61.8), no decisive reversal candle wicked the line, or the stop-order entry was never broken — unbroken setups expire silently. The Guide walks through each gate.
