Never miss a clean fib setup again.
FibScanner watches crypto, gold, FX, indices, commodities and US mega-caps around the clock in your browser and pings you the moment a scored Fib 50% retracement or range breakout confirms — with entry, stop, targets and R:R.
It finds the setup, draws the plan, and tells you the moment it confirms.
Across crypto, gold, FX, indices, commodities and US mega-caps — FibScanner does the watching so you can do the trading.
284 markets, free data
57 crypto, a 126-name US stock board, 20 ETFs, tokenized gold, the full G10 FX board, world indices and commodities — from free public feeds (Binance mirror, Kraken, Hyperliquid, Yahoo). No paid data, no broker login.
Two strategies
Fib 50% Retracement and Range Breakout, each with its own watchlist — run the setups you actually trade.
8 timeframes, bar-close
One minute to monthly — scanned exactly on every bar close, so signals are non-repainting, not mid-candle guesses.
The full trade plan
Every alert draws entry, stop, targets and R:R on a candlestick chart, with the fib ladder marked — and one click copies the whole plan to your clipboard.
Alerts your way
Desktop notifications, alert sounds, and Telegram alerts with chart images straight to your phone — plus webhook alerts to Discord or any URL on Elite.
Private & quality-first
100% in your browser — no account, no server, no data collection. A chop filter and an R:R floor keep the noise out.
Honest outcome tracking
FibScanner grades its own alerts — TP1 ✓ or SL ✗ — and keeps a per-strategy win/loss record right in the panel. No cherry-picked screenshots; you see how the rules actually perform.
Position size, done for you
Set your account size and risk % once. Every alert card then shows the exact position size for its stop distance — no napkin math before you click.
Crypto derivatives context
Crypto alerts carry the live funding rate and long/short ratio, with a "crowded side" warning when positioning is lopsided — extra edge before you take the trade.
Set it once. It watches every bar close for you.
Pick what you trade and how you want to be told — FibScanner does the rest, waking exactly on each candle close.
Pick your markets
Choose from 284 instruments — 57 crypto, a 126-name US stock board, 20 ETFs, tokenized gold, the full G10 FX board, world indices (S&P 500, Nasdaq, Dow, DAX, FTSE, Nikkei) and commodities (WTI, Brent, Silver, NatGas). Each strategy gets its own watchlist.
Pick your timeframes
1m, 5m, 15m, 1h, 4h, 1d, 1w, 1M. It wakes exactly on each bar close — a 1m list scans every minute, a daily list once a day. Quiet bars cost nothing.
The engine grades it
Closed bars only, non-repainting. Each setup passes a confirmation candle, an ADX trend filter and a risk:reward floor, then earns a 0–100 quality score.
You get alerted
A side-panel card with the full chart — fib ladder, entry, stop, targets, R:R — plus desktop notifications, alert sounds, and Telegram alerts with the chart image.
Two strategies, graded the same disciplined way.
No black box. Here's exactly what has to happen before FibScanner calls a setup — on closed candles only.
Fib 50% Retracement
- A clean impulse leg establishes the trend
- Price pulls back into the 45–66% zone of that leg
- A confirmation candle prints — engulfing, hammer or shooting star
- An ADX trend-strength filter screens out the chop
- It clears the risk:reward floor, then scores 0–100
Range Breakout
- Price coils into a tight consolidation
- The level is tested 2+ times and holds
- A decisive, full-bodied candle breaks the range
- Measured-move targets project from the range height
- Runs on 1h and higher — where testing showed the edge lives
Every survivor is scored 0–100. It only alerts at 55+.
Four components decide the grade. The score measures a setup's quality by the rules — how textbook it is — not a win probability. No score guarantees an outcome.
284 markets. One scanner watching all of them.
Every instrument is live-validated against its venue's public API — confirmed listing, real 24-hour volume, clean structure. No paid data feed, no broker login, nothing to configure.

Timeframes shown are the cleanest available per venue — delayed feeds (indices, commodities) are limited to higher timeframes where the lag is irrelevant to the signal. Gold, USD/JPY and the six mega-cap perps are tokenized / synthetic proxies, clearly labeled in-app.
What FibScanner is — and isn't.
- It's an educational tool, not financial advice. No signal is a recommendation — you decide every trade.
- Gold, USD/JPY and US equities are tokenized / synthetic proxies that track — but are not — the underlying spot markets. Every proxy is clearly labeled in-app.
- Index & commodity data comes from a free public feed delayed ~10–30 minutes — which is why those markets are higher-timeframe only (1h/4h+), where the delay doesn't matter. Labeled in-app.
- Session markets (indices, commodities, FX, equity proxies) don't trade weekends; weekend signals are suppressed.
- Alerts fire while Chrome is running. A 24/7 cloud tier is on the roadmap (Elite).
- Trading involves substantial risk of loss. We never claim win rates or profits — we sell time saved and setups not missed.
Questions traders ask.
Does it place trades?
No. FibScanner finds and alerts setups; you decide what to do with them. It never touches an exchange account.
Do I need an account?
No account with us at all. Pro users just paste a licence key. Telegram alerts use your own free Telegram bot.
Where does the data come from?
Free public market-data APIs — the Binance data mirror, Kraken, Hyperliquid and Yahoo — fetched directly by your browser. No paid feeds, no broker login.
Indices and commodities — how are they free?
On higher timeframes (1h+) we use a free public feed that's delayed 10–30 minutes — irrelevant when a bar lasts four hours or a day. Real-time index and commodity data down to 1m needs licensed feeds; that's what the Elite tier will fund.
Why can't I scan the S&P on 5m?
The free index feed is delayed, so fast timeframes would give you stale signals. We'd rather lock the timeframe than alert you late. Elite (licensed real-time data) will unlock them.
Does it repaint?
No. Signals are computed on closed candles only, and a setup alerts exactly once per bar.
Will it slow my browser down?
No — the whole extension is about 500 KB, sleeps between bar closes, and only fetches the markets whose candle just closed.
